Your local Red Cross chapter is committed to meeting the humanitarian needs of the people in your area, be it in disaster preparedness, disaster relief, first aid or CPR training, or disease prevention. You can help support your local chapter through a link to the National Red Cross website. The gift will be sent to the Washington County Chapter based on your zip code in Washington and Nowata Counties.
In 2008 your chapter has responded to house fires affecting 21 family members. Adults and children received emergency food, shelter, clothing and other immediate needs. The total cost for financial assistance for fire victims in 2008 is $20,757. To continue to provide this assistance we need your help.
We are an independent organization, not a government agency. All disaster relief provided by the Red Cross is given free of charge as a gift from the people of Washington and Nowata Counties.
